Facilities & Capabilities

PESL provides experimental and computational capabilities supporting research across power electronics, electric machines and drives, renewable energy, energy storage, advanced control and electric power systems.

Our laboratories support research from component-level characterization and converter prototyping to integrated drive systems, real-time control and system-level power and energy experimentation.

We are expanding

We are expanding our laboratory capabilities to support a broader range of research and testing activities. The expansion will include a dedicated EMI room equipped with partial discharge measurement equipment, additional laboratory space to accommodate new research activities and experimental setups, and new electric drives equipment to enhance our capabilities in the development, testing, and characterization of advanced electric drive systems. These additions will significantly strengthen our laboratory infrastructure and enable new research opportunities in electromagnetic compatibility, insulation and high-voltage phenomena, and electric drive technologies.
